Trimax has left the building.

Blade_VI: I'm in tx to

ccasady,

AuntiAlias: it's one thing to set up a tape recorder and let it play....

Evan: houston?

Blade_VI: are you one of those bryce camp managers or whatever?

AuntiAlias: another thing entirely to make a good tape

Evan: (the woodlands)

Blade_VI: hey wait

KPT Chuck materializes from thin air.

Blade_VI: when is bryce camp?

AuntiAlias: and then who's gonna duplicate them and send them and sell them and where's the bank account gonna be, etc.

boru: How about if we did a puppet show instead of a video?

Clay: is this 7 days or 5 workin days?

ccasady: I'm the event "cahir" The big cheese, Mr. Big,

stucker: the key is being there - my bro used to live in the woodlands - nice area ; )

AuntiAlias: so.. it's under discussion

ccasady: 5 days

AuntiAlias: lol, Chris!

Clay: cool!

thanks

Blade_VI: I probably still be in school :(

Evan: me too

tommy has just left.

cboswell is off to render mirrored spheres.

Clem: True, Aunti, true. My hope is that you guys can find someone who knws what they are doing

JeffP: How about a Bryce movie of the camp?

quickdraw: are any of those 5 days a weekend?

KPOP: Has a date been set yet?

aeryn: you'd probably learn more at Bryce camp than at school!

tommy saunters in.

MetaJohn: There is a non Bryce Camp discussion in Ferns Coool Room...

AuntiAlias: hey!

Blade_VI: I doubt I can get my dad to give me enough money to send me to bryce camp

ccasady: May 24 to 28

tommy: sorry, got dropped

stucker: fern might be lonely tonight ; )

Blade_VI: 900 bucks, isn't it?

AuntiAlias: let him make puns!

aeryn: fern, Scott???

Evan: has anyone ever tried to use...photoshop>filters>rener>clouds.......as a mountain fractal, it works pretty good!

Blade_VI: wish I could go

quickdraw: which airport would one fly into? LA?

ccasady: let me send you to the "cost and housing page"

http://www.tilenut.com/ojai/costs.html

stucker: I'm guessing that's Fernando's chat room

Bryguy: me too blade

Calyxa: yes, Evan, I've seen a tutorial on that.

Meta Robert wants to play too.

ccasady: Los Angeles, or Burbank are good

Clark/CDS: it sure was last year...worth every oeeny and then some

sigma7 has more important business elsewhere.

aeryn: yes, I renter clouds all the time as a starting point for creating my terrains

Blade_VI: 675 bucks?!?!?!?!

Clem: Yeah, it's a steal alright when you might make $900.00 in three months

AuntiAlias: iced tea break.. I"ll be bacak in a moment!

Blade_VI: ag..

scotrick materializes from thin air.

Evan: it looks realistic

scotrick: phew... finally

stucker: i mean b4

metafernc has just entered.

Blade_VI: my dad will never give me that much money for a week of instructions on something he considers a vid game

ccasady: Here's the main URL for the event: http://www.tilenut.com/ojai/

Bill Munns: Hey Fernando

ccasady: It aint no video game, it's fine art!

aeryn: blade, has your dad seen your incredible Bryce images?

metafernc: hi bill

Blade_VI: no kidding.

Bryguy: you guy's should offer bryce camp at an academic price

pware has more important business elsewhere.

Blade_VI: actually, he only considers it fine art when I'm making images fo him

stucker: I'm starting to make money on that video game Blade -it leads to careers.

Blade_VI: and when it's for my own personel use

he considers it bid cames

ccasady: What's an academic price?

Evan: you should give scolarship like things to good brycers

Blade_VI: vid

jalama is off to save the world.

Evan: (like me)

Blade_VI: YAH!

academic pryce

Bryguy: it costs less for students

Blade_VI: I'm only 14

boru: Scott, you're doing a video game?

Bryguy: i got visual basic 6 for $100

AuntiAlias: Evan... you should find Scolarship sponsors

ccasady: The classes that normally happen in this classroom cost 1,300 a week. No housing or food.

Blade_VI: and I spend about 1-6 hours a day using bryce

stucker: good idea - evan - maybe next year meta will sponsor some brycecamp scholarships - write this down Susan

AuntiAlias: the thing about Bryce Camp, or at least the BryceRetreat before it...

Blade_VI: !!!!

mmurphy materializes from thin air.

ccasady: Bryce Camp costs $675.00

Bryguy: normal price is like $600

Blade_VI: I got visual basic for 250

AuntiAlias: is that it's an event put on outta da pocketbook of one individual

mmurphy: Hello

Evan: remember the idea spawner.......................

eljamez has just entered.

ccasady: Hey MMurphy!

welcome!

Calyxa: hey, Martin

mmurphy: Hey Chris

AuntiAlias: and (I speak as one who's just done taxes)... the event chair is not in a position to additionally offer scholarships....

Blade_VI: ok..

this is slow

mmurphy: HeyCaly

stucker: but meta could foot the bill for 2 sholastic brycers I bet... ya never know for the future??

AuntiAlias: sheer reality of it all... : )

Blade_VI: I'm rendering, have 5 browser open, and I'm chatting

...

Evan: think bryce will be angry if i render while i talk?

ccasady: Folks! here's the guy what did da cover of B4!

AuntiAlias: BUT.. I AGREE that finding someoen to do scholarships is a good idea

where do you think we could get scholarship funding?

aeryn: isn't someone from Meta in this room who could perhaps speak on Meta offering scholarships???

mmurphy: (I'm getting a huge lag on my end tonight, must be a slow line in Ohio)

KPT John disappears in a blinding flash of smoke.

Bryguy: i haven't the faintest

ccasady: thee he went!

AuntiAlias: he just left!

Evan: you did the cover ccasady?

MetaIan: (it won't mind, Evan)

ccasady: ducked out just in time!

Blade_VI: yah. you adults control the cash cause you make it, so 900 bucks is your decision. to me, that's may dads decision

quickdraw: mmurphy - where in OHio

AuntiAlias: actually, I don't think that he could speak off the cuff about something liek that3

mmurphy is the one who did the cover art

ccasady: No, I didn't do the cover> It was MMurphy here.

mmurphy: Quick, just outside of Cincinnati

aeryn: was that feld?

AuntiAlias: in fact, I think that we should have Martin be a special guest at an upcoming BryceTalk event...

whaddaya think?

stucker: thats a great mountain and volumetric clouds

Clay: Hi Martin

Evan: mmurphy.........how do you submit something like that?

Blade_VI: I have like every preset on the bryce cd's loaded on my comp

so I never use the cd

mmurphy: I'm sorry, submit what Evan?

Blade_VI: so many sky presets :)

aeryn: huh, MetaJohn? I was wondering if KPT John was John Feld?

rvanderlippe: Hi Susan!

Clem: Personally, I've been using b4, in concert with rds5 for web graphics. I like the depth they add and would love to learn more but $$$

aeryn: my scroll bar handle is getting real small...what happens if it disappears, Susan?

Blade_VI: The think I like about bryc the mose is the way it does waters and skys

stucker: 233 is plenty fast for a simple scene

Clay: LOL

AuntiAlias: or if the points for keyframes are timed in such a way that it is not smooth

Evan: it was meant for pc

MetaJohn: Not so true anymore Chris

AuntiAlias: in fact, check out the Bryce 4 tutorial

ccasady: and it's none the better for it

AuntiAlias: last part of the animation tutorial where trajectory is converted to path
